A family craft.
A path of my own.
My story began at thirteen, spending time in my father’s salon alongside him and his team. I had no plans to become a hairstylist. I simply enjoyed being there, and little by little, curiosity led me to pick up the scissors.
What began as something playful soon became something I loved — and a craft I wanted to pursue seriously.
CURIOSITY BECAME COMMITMENT
I followed that passion through formal schooling, academy training, and years of working alongside accomplished hairstylists and educators. Attending competitions and continually seeking opportunities to learn helped me refine my technique, develop my eye, and establish myself professionally in Europe.
As my career grew, so did my ambitions. I wanted to discover different perspectives, challenge my abilities, and experience the craft on a wider international stage.
That desire eventually took me thousands of miles from home.
A NEW CHAPTER IN NEW YORK
In 2021, I arrived in New York, ready to build the next chapter of my career.
Working in Manhattan salons brought new relationships, different approaches, and the opportunity to exchange ideas with talented professionals. I carried my European foundation with me while allowing the city and its people to broaden my perspective.
Above all, it was the trust of my clients that gave this chapter its meaning. Their loyalty and appreciation encouraged me to keep growing — and eventually to create something of my own.
THE BEGINNING OF VOJIN HAIR
Vojin Hair grew from those relationships.
Clients began asking for the same care and attention beyond the salon, in their homes, hotels, and private settings. Their requests inspired me to launch my own brand and introduce a private concierge hairstyling service in New York.
It is a natural continuation of everything that came before: my father’s influence, years of education, the decision to start again in a new city, and the people who have trusted me along the way.
Today, I continue to build that vision, grateful to offer my clients more and proud of the relationships we have built.
What began with curiosity at thirteen has become a lifelong commitment to my craft.
